The Role We’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Optical Assistant who enjoys working with people and delivering an excellent patient experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Meeting and greeting patients, providing a warm and welcoming service.Assisting patients with frame selection and spectacle dispensing.Advising on suitable frames and lenses to meet individual needs.Taking accurate measurements and ensuring spectacles fit comfortably.Carrying out pre-screening and clinical support duties, where trained.Assisting with spectacle collections, adjustments and repairs.Supporting the Optometrist and wider team with the smooth running of the practice.Carrying out general administrative duties.
