Finance Director
Up to £160,00 + bonus
Hybrid (2 days in Fleet office)
Jasper Rose is looking for a highly commercial Finance Director to join their clients leadership team and support the next phase of growth for its fast-paced, technology B2C tech platform.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take ownership of the financial operations, risk and compliance functions, providing strategic financial insight and challenge to the leadership team. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Underwriting, Tech/Product and People, you will play a key role in delivering the business’s ambitious growth plans while ensuring robust financial, legal and regulatory governance.
Key responsibilities:
Acting as a key member of the Leadership Team, providing strategic financial support and challenge to the CEO and senior leadership teamLeading and developing the finance team of six, overseeing financial reporting and analysis, management accounting, payroll, VAT, accounts payable and receivableTaking ownership of financial planning and forecasting, providing strategic oversight and guiding the Commercial Finance Business PartnerOverseeing financial accounting and reporting, including tax, statutory reporting, group reporting and relationships with external advisers, in collaboration with the parent company’s Group Finance teamLeading risk and compliance oversight, ensuring robust FCA reporting, enterprise risk management and adherence to Consumer Duty standardsActing as the internal lead for legal and contractual governance, managing external counsel and ensuring commercial agreements align with the business’s risk appetite and regulatory obligationsSupporting the CEO on ad hoc strategic projects What we’re looking for:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, combining strong technical financial expertise with commercial curiosity, ideally gained within a fast-paced technology environmentProven experience leading finance teams across both operational and commercial finance, delivering robust financial processes and providing commercial support to business leadersA highly commercial finance leader who can partner with and challenge senior stakeholders, supporting the delivery of the financial plan and wider business objectivesStrong leadership, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the businessSomeone who can balance strategic thinking with attention to detail, moving comfortably between the bigger picture and hands-on financial work when requiredComfortable navigating ambiguity, managing multiple priorities and working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProactive and accountable, with strong attention to detail and the ability to see tasks and projects through to completionAble to translate complex financial, commercial and regulatory requirements into clear insights that support effective decision-makingExcellent Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to produce clear, concise presentations that highlight key insights and recommendations This is an opportunity to take on a key leadership role within a growing business, combining commercial finance leadership with responsibility for financial operations, risk and compliance.
