About this role
We are working with a highly successful property management company who are seeking an experienced Service Charge Accountant to join their team in a sole-charge capacity, taking full ownership of the service charge accounting function across a varied property portfolio.
You will manage a varied property portfolio and work closely with property managers, clients and tenants, taking ownership of the service charge accounting process.
The role offers generous holidays and onsite parking.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing service charge budgets and year-end accountsReconciliations, accruals and prepaymentsManaging sinking/reserve funds and major worksPreparing service charge demands and maintaining accurate accountsHandling client and tenant queriesFinancial reporting and bank reconciliationsReview supplier invoices and code expenditure accuratelyProduce financial reports for property managers and clients Key Requirements:
4–5+ years' property management experienceHands-on Qube MRI experience – EssentialStrong service charge accounting backgroundGood Excel skills and excellent attention to detailConfident dealing with clients and tenantsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines independently If you have strong Qube MRI and service charge accounting experience and are looking for your next opportunity within a successful property business, we'd love to hear from you.
