Learning Support Assistant - Complex Needs Location: North Northamptonshire Salary: £92.56-£95 per day Contract: Temp to Perm Start Date: ASAP
Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join one of our partner schools in North Northamptonshire, supporting pupils with complex additional needs.
This is a fantastic temp-to-permanent opportunity for someone who is looking to build a long-term career within a specialist education setting.
The Role Providing dedicated 1:1 and/or small-group support to pupils with complex needsSupporting pupils with their individual learning and developmentHelping pupils to engage positively with school and classroom activitiesSupporting with personal care and other aspects of day-to-day care where requiredSupporting pupils who may present with challenging or dysregulated behaviourBuilding positive, trusting relationships with pupils and providing consistent supportWorking closely with teachers and the wider support team to meet individual needs Requirements Previous experience supporting individuals with complex needs is essentialExperience within a specialist school, SEN, care or support settingConfident supporting pupils with a range of additional needsPatient, resilient and adaptable approachMust have the right to work in the UK for the long term, as this role has the potential to become permanentApplicants must have settled status, indefinite leave to remain, British/Irish citizenship or another valid long-term right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available for this position Why Tradewind?
