Butler Rose is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a long-established and growing business seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and support the next stage of the company's growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working within an SME environment and wants to play a key role in supporting business performance and decision-making.
The Role Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing valuable insight to support strategic business decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparation of monthly management accountsCash flow forecasting and treasury managementBudgeting and financial planningProduction of monthly financial reports and analysisVAT returns and statutory complianceCredit control oversight and debtor managementBalance sheet reconciliationsSupporting month-end and year-end processesProviding financial insight and recommendations to senior managementContinuous improvement of financial controls and processes About You We're interested in speaking with candidates who possess:
Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Company Accountant or similarStrong management accounting skillsExperience within an SME environmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesA proactive and hands-on approachStrong Excel and financial systems experience Applications are welcomed from candidates who are:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifiedPart-qualifiedQualified by experience (QBE) What's on Offer?
