Principal Control Systems Engineer – Process Automation An opportunity has become available for an experienced Principal Control Systems Engineer to join an established engineering organisation delivering complex process automation and control system projects.
The position would suit a senior controls/automation engineer with extensive hands-on experience working with Rockwell Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and FactoryTalk View SE, alongside a strong background delivering PLC/SCADA projects through the full engineering lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
PLC and SCADA software design and developmentDevelopment using Rockwell Allen-Bradley ControlLogix / Studio 5000HMI/SCADA development using FactoryTalk View SEControl system design, implementation and optimisationFAT, SAT, installation and commissioningTroubleshooting and technical supportProducing technical specifications and project documentationWorking closely with engineering, project and customer teamsProviding technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers Key experience:
10+ years' experience delivering industrial automation/control system projectsStrong hands-on experience with Rockwell Allen-Bradley ControlLogixStrong FactoryTalk View SE experiencePLC / HMI / SCADA software developmentProcess automation or industrial control systemsTesting, commissioning and project deliveryAbility to work at Principal/Lead level The business is open to considering candidates on either a permanent or long-term contract basis.
