Quality Assurance Technologist
Location: Near Haverfordwest Salary: £13.45 per hour Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Permanent
We are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technologist to join a successful food manufacturing business. Working within a busy Technical team, you will play a key role in supporting food safety, quality, and compliance standards across the site, ensuring products consistently meet customer, legal, and internal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Quality team with daily quality checks, reporting, and administrative tasks.Conduct routine GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) audits and report findings.Accurately input and maintain testing, inspection, and analysis data.Assist with calibration records and carry out weekly calibration checks.Update and maintain quality procedures, specifications, and work instructions.Support site compliance with food safety, quality, and customer standards.Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities where required. Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment.Good understanding of HACCP and food safety principles.Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Competent IT and data entry skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Quality-focused mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
