Are you a hands-on BI Developer with strong Power BI, SQL, and data modelling expertise? The Role
As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising reporting and analytics solutions that support business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports for a range of business stakeholdersDesigning and developing robust semantic models, star schemas, and dimensional data modelsWriting and optimising SQL queries to support reporting and analytical requirementsGathering requirements directly from stakeholders and translating them into effective BI solutionsAdvising stakeholders on dashboard design, reporting best practice, and data visualisationManaging a pipeline of reporting requests and prioritising business needsEnsuring reporting solutions deliver clear commercial value and actionable insightsSupporting data quality, governance, and continuous improvement initiativesCommunicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a clear and engaging way Your Skills & Experience
Strong commercial experience developing solutions in Power BIAdvanced understanding of DAX, data modelling, and semantic layer developmentStrong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysisExperience designing dimensional models and star schemasProven ability to engage with business stakeholders and gather requirementsExperience translating business needs into impactful dashboards and reporting solutionsStrong communication skills and confidence presenting insights to senior stakeholdersA hands-on approach with a passion for delivering high-quality BI solutionsExperience working within analytics, business intelligence, or reporting environments What They Offer
