Line Technician
Location: UKSalary: £35kJob Type: Full-timeWorking Hours: 41.25 hours per week, rotating shifts Join our team as a Line Technician in a dynamic FMCG environment, where you will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of production efficiency, quality, and safety. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a keen ability to solve problems, pay attention to detail, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Day-to-day of the role:
Operate and monitor production line equipment to ensure optimal performance.Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs on machinery.Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues promptly.Conduct line changeovers and setups according to production schedules.Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.Record and report on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance activities.Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements.Support root cause analysis for recurring technical issues. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in FMCG or high-speed manufacturing.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
