Description
Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Monitor data protection practices and ensure adherence to GDPR and other applicable laws.Act as the main point of contact for data protection queries and issues within the organisation.Conduct regular audits and risk assessments of data processing activities.Provide training and guidance to staff on data protection and compliance matters.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper data governance and security.Respond to data subject access requests and liaise with regulatory authorities when necessary.Oversee incident management processes related to data breaches and ensure timely reporting. A successful Data Compliance Manager should have:
Knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.Experience in data protection, compliance, or a related legal field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
