Job Title: WrappersJob DescriptionENTRY LEVEL JOB/BASIC WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE NEEDED/START DAY AFTER GROUP VIDEO INTERVIEWThis role focuses on carefully cutting and wrapping cheeses for online orders that are packed and shipped from a warehouse environment. You ensure each product is cut to the correct size, wrapped neatly with attention to presentation, and handled according to strict food safety standards before it is stocked into boxes for delivery.Responsibilities

• Cut cheeses to the precise size specified in online orders using a wire cutter and other appropriate tools. • Wrap cheese neatly and securely in paper, maintaining a clean and professional appearance for each item. • Ensure all food handling and wrapping processes follow food safety guidelines and best practices at all times. • Pick and pack online orders accurately, confirming that the correct products and quantities are selected for each shipment. • Stock wrapped cheeses into boxes in an organized manner to support efficient packing and shipping operations. • Support general production and assembly tasks related to food manufacturing and packaging as needed. • Assist with basic inventory-related activities such as restocking and organizing products in the warehouse. • Follow established procedures for food preparation and food handling in a production environment. • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area throughout the shift. • Collaborate with team members in production, packaging, and food service to meet daily order and quality targets. Essential Skills

• Demonstrated experience handling food in a foodservice, food prep, barista, cook prep, or similar environment. • Strong food safety awareness and ability to follow food handling and preparation procedures. • Ability to accurately pick and pack orders in a warehouse or production setting. • Experience with general production, food production, or manufacturing processes. • Comfort working with packaging and assembly tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Attention to detail when cutting products to specified sizes and wrapping items neatly. • Reliability in following established processes for food handling, preparation, and order fulfillment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Background in food manufacturing or food production. • Food handlers certification is a plus. • Prior wrapping experience, especially wrapping cheese or similar products in paper, is a plus. • Experience with inventory-related tasks such as stocking and organizing products is beneficial. • Familiarity with picking, packing, and general warehouse operations is an advantage. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, food safety, and efficient order processing, with a collaborative atmosphere among production, packaging, and foodservice teams. Attire should be appropriate for a food production setting, with adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Long Island City, NY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
