💻🔧 Job Title: ITAD Technician 📋 Job Description This role focuses on hands-on work with electronic equipment in a secure IT asset disposition (ITAD) area within a warehouse. 💻 You will inspect, clean, test, and prepare laptops and other electronic goods, accurately track inventory, and follow detailed instructions to set up and process devices. 🛠 Responsibilities

• 💻 Handle electronic goods directly, including laptops and related equipment, in a secure ITAD area. • 🔍 Perform visual inspections of incoming electronic goods to assess condition and identify issues. • 🧹 Clean laptops and other electronic equipment to prepare them for testing and further processing. • 🔌 Test products, cords, and plugs to ensure proper functionality and safety. • 🔎 Inspect cords, plugs, and related components for damage or defects. • 💾 Carry out data wiping, diagnosing, and imaging of devices according to established procedures. • 📦 Sort and inspect boxes of products to verify contents and quality. • Set up devices according to written instructions and process requirements. • 🖥 Power on electronic goods and perform tests following detailed instructions and protocols. • 📋 Review pick sheets and order sheets to confirm items and processing steps. • 📊 Track product and inventory accurately using logs, forms, or digital tools. • 💻 Use computers to log information, update records, and support device processing. • 📝 Log and track inventory, parts, and components on paper or electronic logs. • 📦 Operate basic warehouse tools and equipment, such as pallet jacks and RF scanners, as needed to move and manage inventory. Essential Skills

• 💻 Experience working hands-on with electronic goods such as laptops and related hardware. • 🔍 Ability to perform visual inspections and basic quality checks on electronic equipment and components. • 🧹 Skill in cleaning and preparing laptops and electronic devices for testing or resale. • 🔌 Experience testing products, cords, and plugs for functionality and safety. • 🔎 Ability to inspect cords, plugs, and other hardware for visible damage or defects. • 🛠 Basic knowledge of electronics repair, troubleshooting, and hardware/software diagnosis. • 💻 Familiarity with laptop repair processes and common hardware and software issues. • 📋 Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions for setting up and testing devices. • 📱 Competence using computers, iPads, or smartphones to view pick sheets, order sheets, and logs. • 📊 Experience with inventory tracking, including logging parts and products accurately. • 📦 Comfort working in a warehouse environment with tools such as RF scanners and pallet jacks. • 🗂 Ability to sort, organize, and inspect boxes of products efficiently. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
