About this role

The Finance Manager leads the day-to-day finance function for Credit Line and the relevant Malaa entities, ensuring accurate accounting, timely financial and regulatory reporting, disciplined liquidity management, effective internal controls, and compliance with IFRS, SAMA, CMA, ZATCA, Saudi Companies Law, and approved Group policies. The role supports the Group CFO through reliable management information, budgeting, audit coordination, finance-team supervision, and continuous process improvement. Financial Accounting and Reporting: Own the general ledger and monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including journal review, accruals, provisions, prepayments, depreciation, amortisation, reclassifications, and consolidation submissions. Prepare and review management accounts, statutory financial statements, balance-sheet reconciliations, cash-flow reporting, and analysis of material movements and variances. Ensure appropriate IFRS accounting for financing activities, revenue and fees, financial instruments and ECL, leases, intangible assets, related parties, provisions, and entity-specific transactions. Budgeting and Performance Management: Coordinate annual budgets, rolling forecasts, long-range plans, and monthly budget-versus-actual reporting across business and support functions. Challenge assumptions, validate inputs, and provide financial insight on profitability, pricing, investments, operating costs, capital requirements, and resource allocation. Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs, identify adverse trends, and recommend timely corrective actions to management. Treasury, Liquidity and Reconciliations: Manage daily cash positioning, liquidity forecasts, funding requirements, payment planning, bank accounts, authorised signatories, and treasury controls. Review bank, collection, disbursement, payment-gateway, broker, custodian, portfolio, and intercompany reconciliations, as applicable. Ensure reconciling items are investigated, assigned, aged, and cleared promptly, with significant liquidity or settlement risks escalated to the Group CFO. Regulatory, Tax and Statutory Compliance: Coordinate accurate and timely SAMA, CMA, and other regulatory returns, ensuring reconciliation to the general ledger, documented data lineage, review evidence, and maker-checker controls. Oversee VAT, withholding tax, zakat or corporate tax schedules and filings, including correct treatment of domestic and cross-border transactions and complete supporting documentation. Monitor relevant regulatory and tax developments and support SAMA, CMA, ZATCA, and other inspections, assessments, audits, and information requests. Payables, Procurement and Expense Governance: Oversee vendor onboarding, purchase orders, invoice processing, employee expenses, payment runs, vendor master data, and open-commitment reporting. Ensure budget availability, contract validation, three-way matching, correct cost-centre and tax treatment, and approvals in accordance with the Delegation of Authority. Enforce segregation of duties, maker-checker controls, supporting-document standards, payment cut-offs, and timely monitoring of payables, accruals, and outstanding purchase orders. Internal Controls, Audit and Governance: Maintain finance policies, procedures, process narratives, risk and control matrices, close checklists, and evidence that key controls have operated effectively. Lead finance support for internal and external audits, prepare schedules and technical responses, and ensure timely remediation of audit, regulatory, tax, and control findings. Identify control gaps, data-quality issues, process weaknesses, and system limitations; agree corrective actions and track implementation to completion. Finance Systems and Process Improvement: Oversee effective use of the accounting or ERP system, chart of accounts, master data, posting rules, user access, interfaces, workflows, and period controls. Define finance requirements for new products, system enhancements, reporting tools, and integrations, and participate in testing and implementation. Improve close speed, reporting accuracy, audit trails, reconciliation efficiency, and scalability through standardisation, automation, and clear source-to-report documentation. Team Leadership and Business Partnership: Supervise, coach, and develop finance staff; allocate work, set deadlines and quality standards, and review deliverables before submission. Act as the principal finance contact for Operations, Credit, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Procurement, Human Resources, and other business functions. Communicate financial results and regulatory implications clearly, provide constructive challenge, and escalate material accounting, liquidity, tax, control, or compliance matters promptly.
