Commercial Finance Business Partner - Six-Month FTC Location:Glossop Salary: £60,000- 65,000 Working pattern: 2days onsite
Robert Walters is recruiting a Commercial Finance Business Partner for a consumer products business on a six-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will partner with commercial and operational teams, providing insight and challenge to improve profitability and support business decisions.
This opportunity would suit a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys analysing performance, influencing stakeholders and translating financial data into practical recommendations.
Key responsibilities
Analyse revenue and margin performance by product range against budget and prior year.Identify profitability drivers through price, volume, mix and rate analysis.Produce commercial reporting, trade packs and management accounts inputs for a key retail account.Evaluate pricing proposals, promotional investment and rebate claims.Support product range planning, challenging assumptions and assessing financial impact.Build phased budgets and monthly forecasts from revenue through to net margin, including SKU-level detail.Highlight risks and opportunities and recommend actions to improve performance.Maintain and enhance Power BI reporting.Support long-range planning and ad hoc commercial projects. About you
ACA, ACCA or CIMA OR QBEProven commercial finance business partnering experience.Experience within FMCG or consumer products.Strong analytical skills, with experience in forecasting, budgeting and margin analysis.Confident using Power BI.Able to communicate clearly, challenge constructively and build effective stakeholder relationships.
