Job SummaryYou will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Waterfront Operations Department, Surface Operations Division, (Code 103), Hawaii Regional Maintenance Center (HRMC) within PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing logistics management operations to include researching, ordering, tracking, receiving and resolving materials logistics issues using automated software, such as Material Requirements (MRQT), FEDMALL, OneTouch and Logiquest. Major DutiesYou will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist and a centralized authority for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) related to direction and guidance for planning, procurement, tracking, material and inventory management, turnover and disposal.You will exercise knowledge of the overall DOD, DON and PHNSY C500/DLA Logistics Systems support element functionality to include established methodologies and constructs for applicable supply, maintenance and transportation systems.You will investigate the availability of material from primary supply sources.You will provide logistical support and mitigates risk by utilizing functional expertise to resolve issues when researching material availability and recommending material substitutes for critical, hard-to-get material.You will coordinate and serve as Government agent for turnover of material to contractors for all work to include TYCOM and modernization.
