QualificationsGS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledge of supply chain and supply stock system operations and procedures involving material management to accomplish shipyard mission requirements. Knowledge of administrative procedures for material acquisition and procurement and determine the proper path to expedite material requirements. Knowledge of material movement, transportation and shipping operating procedures. Expert knowledge and experience in supply operations and management programs. Major DutiesYou will be the primary contact for all requisitions as the liaison with the supply chain.You will be responsible for receiving and reviewing all Job Material Lists, including cancellations and modifications.You will determine proper acquisition path to expedite requestions in Military Standard Requisitions and Issue Procedures.You will develop and initiate administrative procedures and controls to ensure material requisitions are processed in an orderly manner within time and budget constraints.You will review all open material readiness requirements at completion of maintenance availabilities to ensure all objectives are met.You will conduct analysis to determine trends and identify deficiencies and provide recommendations and/or corrective actions to improve levels of supply readiness.
