We are currently recruiting for an experienced Handyperson / Maintenance Operative to provide temporary cover at an accommodation site in Birmingham City Centre.The role will involve carrying out a variety of general repairs and maintenance throughout the accommodation, so we're looking for someone practical, reliable and comfortable undertaking a broad range of minor works.
Duties will include:
General maintenance and repairsPainting and touch-up worksMinor repairs to fixtures and fittingsMinor fixing works, including sockets where appropriateGeneral handyperson dutiesIdentifying and resolving general maintenance issuesEnsuring work is completed to a good standard Requirements:
Previous handyperson, maintenance or similar experienceGood general maintenance skills across a variety of tasksReliable and able to work independentlyNo formal trade qualifications requiredAvailable to start ASAP This is an initial 4-week temporary assignment, paying up to £23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
