Reed are working exclusively with an established business in West Oxfordshire looking to hire a new Finance Manager to support the senior leadership team and lead a capable finance function through its next phase of growth.
This is a broad role offering a mix of financial reporting, commercial analysis, business partnering and people leadership. You'll work closely with directors and key stakeholders across the business, providing insight to support decision-making and helping drive financial performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Ownership of monthly management reporting and financial analysis
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and planning processes
• Providing meaningful insight on business performance and key trends
• Partnering with directors and operational stakeholders across the organisation
• Reviewing and improving financial controls, processes and reporting
• Managing, developing and mentoring a finance team
• Working with large volumes of data to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
• Supporting inventory, stock or operational reporting activities where required
We're looking for:
• Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or a strong QBE
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar leadership role
• Strong team management and staff development experience
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting experience
• Manufacturing, engineering, distribution, FMCG or other operationally focused sector experience would be advantageous
• Experience of inventory, stock accounting or operational reporting would be beneficial

Location: Office-based position in West Oxfordshire, commutable from Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot, Bicester, Banbury, Carterton, Chipping Norton, Faringdon and Swindon.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
