We're working exclusively with a market-leading UK provider of driver medical and driver assessment services as they continue an exciting period of growth. They're looking for a Business Development Executive who isn't afraid to pick up the phone, create their own opportunities and go after new business.
This isn't a role for someone waiting for leads to land in their inbox.
It's for someone who wants to go out and win.
The Opportunity
You'll join a growing commercial team and work closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing to expand the company's customer base across the UK.
You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, opening doors and developing relationships with businesses across the haulage, logistics, fleet, taxi, driving school and wider transport sectors.
You'll have the opportunity to sell a range of established services, including:
HGV & PCV driver medicalsTaxi medicalsForklift medicalsDriver screening servicesOccupational driver assessments The business already has an impressive national footprint, with 125+ clinic locations and thousands of medical assessments delivered every month.
Now they want to grow even further.
What You'll Be Doing
Proactively identifying and winning new B2B customersBuilding your own pipeline through outbound prospectingCalling, emailing and engaging decision-makers across the transport sectorDeveloping relationships with haulage companies, fleet operators, taxi businesses, driving schools and employersFollowing up inbound enquiries and converting opportunities into customersGrowing existing accounts through upselling and cross-sellingManaging your pipeline and keeping CRM records up to dateWorking towards ambitious activity and revenue targetsSupporting marketing and lead-generation campaignsRepresenting the business at networking events and industry exhibitionsWorking closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive an excellent experience Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with commercial hunger.
Someone who sees a target and wants to beat it.
You'll ideally have B2B sales or business development experience within driver medicals, haulage, logistics, taxi, fleet, transport or a closely related sector.
Most importantly, you'll be:
