A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Poole is looking for a CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified Corporate Tax Director to lead its corporate tax practice, with a clear path towards partnership.
Poole is a thriving commercial town with a well established business community, and the firm has built a respected corporate tax practice serving a broad and technically interesting portfolio across the region. You’d work in close partnership with the partners on strategy and business development, and have real influence over how the practice develops. What’s the day to day of the role:
Leading complex corporate tax advisory and compliance work across a prestigious portfolioAdvising on M&A, group restructuring, international tax and strategic planningDriving business development and building senior relationships across the marketLeading and developing a high performing corporate tax teamShaping the strategic direction of the practice alongside the firm’s senior leadership Required skills and qualifications:
CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with an outstanding corporate tax background from practiceAt least eight years’ experience within a UK Practice environmentProven track record at senior manager or director level in complex corporate tax advisoryDeep technical knowledge across M&A, group structures and international taxThe credibility to engage at board and partner levelA strong personal network and a proven business development record Benefits:
