Director level roles in corporate tax don't come up often. A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Bristol is looking for a CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified Corporate Tax Director to shape the strategic direction of its corporate tax offering.
Bristol's corporate tax market is one of the most active outside London, and the firm's client base spans a range of sectors and levels of complexity. You'd lead the team, oversee a complex portfolio, and work in close partnership with the partners on growth. What's the day to day of the role:
Leading complex corporate tax advisory and compliance delivery across a prestigious portfolioAdvising on M&A, group restructuring, international tax and strategic tax planningDriving business development and building senior client relationships across the marketLeading and developing a high performing corporate tax teamContributing to the strategic direction of the tax practice alongside senior leadership Required skills and qualifications:
CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with an outstanding corporate tax background gained in practiceAt least seven years' experience within a UK Practice environmentProven track record at senior manager or director level in complex corporate tax advisoryExceptional technical knowledge across M&A, group structures and international taxConfidence to engage at board and partner levelA strong personal network and a proven business development track record Benefits:
