BRAND NEW OPPORTUNITY - PRODUCTION OPERATIVE
Based in Walsall £12.74 per hour with a pay review following successful completion of probation 12:00pm - 8:30pm | Monday to Friday (+30% Shift Allowance from 5:00pm until 8:30pm) Optional overtime available, paid at time and a half! ASAP start available following successful interview / notice period
Please note: This is a hands on production role and some heavy lifting will be involved, so please bear this in mind prior to applying.
I am currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Walsall.

The Role
As a Production Operative, you'll play an important part in the day-to-day manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced accurately, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Operating and assisting with production machinery and equipmentPreparing materials ready for productionCutting, converting and preparing materials/components to customer specificationsFollowing job sheets, measurements and production instructions accuratelyCarrying out quality checks on finished productsPacking and preparing completed products where requiredWorking towards daily production schedules and deadlinesKeeping your workstation clean, organised and safeFollowing all company health & safety and quality proceduresWorking closely with the wider production team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
What Are We Looking For?
Previous experience within manufacturing, production, machine operating or a similar hands-on environment would be advantageous, although attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important!
Reliable and punctual Practical and comfortable in a hands-on role Confident following measurements and instructions accurately Quality focused with excellent attention to detail A great team player Keen to learn and develop new skills Looking for a long-term, sustainable opportunity where you can grow within the business
