Your new company Hays Recruitment are actively recruiting experienced Electricians to join a growing compliance programme across the North West, carrying out EICR testing and associated remedial works within residential properties.This is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated electricians looking for long-term, consistent work with strong earning potential and a well-organised appointment schedule.Your new role You will be responsible for:
Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)Completing C1 and C2 remedial works identified during testingReplacing accessories including switches, sockets and minor electrical componentsUploading certification and completed reports via the client's NIC portalWorking independently across a scheduled patchDelivering excellent customer service within occupied residential propertiesEnsuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations Appointments will be pre-booked, with 3-5 inspections scheduled per day.All materials required for remedial works will be supplied. Payment Structure
£60 per completed EICR£15 per smoke alarm / smoke head installedPayment made upon successful completion of the EICR and upload of certification to the NIC portalC1 & C2 remedial works such as switches, sockets and other minor accessories are included within the EICR rateGross payment available for operatives working through their own Limited Company What you'll need to succeed
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent18th Edition Wiring Regulations2391, 2394/2395 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualificationExperience carrying out EICRs and remedial worksOwn vehicleOwn calibrated test equipmentAbility to upload certificates electronicallyStrong understanding of current electrical regulationsExcellent customer-facing skills Desirable
