Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for experienced Reactive Maintenance Joiners to join a busy repairs and maintenance team, carrying out joinery repairs and maintenance across a range of domestic and commercial properties.
This is a great opportunity for a time-served Joiner looking for long-term, consistent work within a well-established maintenance environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of reactive and planned joinery repairs, responding to maintenance requests and ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard.
Duties will include:
Carrying out reactive joinery repairs in domestic properties and public/commercial buildingsCompleting repairs to doors, windows, flooring, skirting, architraves and other joinery elementsRepairing and replacing damaged fixtures and fittingsCarrying out general joinery maintenance and minor remedial worksResponding to a variety of repair requests and diagnosing issues on siteWorking across occupied and unoccupied propertiesEnsuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standardCompleting jobs within agreed timescales and providing updates where requiredWorking in line with relevant health and safety proceduresMaintaining a professional approach when working in customers' homes and public buildings About You
The successful candidate will ideally be:
Time-served Joiner with relevant qualifications or equivalent experienceExperienced in reactive maintenance or property repairsConfident working independently and managing a varied workloadExperienced working within domestic properties, with commercial/public-sector experience desirableAble to complete high-quality repairs and maintenance workReliable, punctual and professionalAble to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and supervisorsHealth & Safety consciousIdeally hold a full UK driving licence What's on Offer?
