About this role
Noble Recruiting is seeking an experienced Lead Passive Fire Protection Surveyor to oversee the full survey process, from initial order to final report. This hands-on role combines surveying with coordination, client engagement, and ensuring high quality outputs for our industry-renowned client based in Essex.
Main office site: Brentwood, Essex
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE + benefits
Full UK driving licence is essential for the position
Key responsibilities:
Carry out and oversee fire compartmentation, fire door and passive fire protection surveysIdentify defects against regulations and manufacturer standardsCoordinate survey schedules, RAMS, equipment and labourProduce high quality survey reports and prepare data for pricingAttend site visits and support client relationshipsPromote additional services and support business developmentMaintain compliance with H&S, ISO and industry standardsInvestigate non-conformances and maintain accurate recordsSupport colleagues and represent the surveying function professionallyProject Surveying, undertake site visits across the UK nationally if required and provide commercial engagementHelp to ensure working environments are safe and secure, and that the company remains compliant with all health & safety, COSHH and quality rules and regulations
What You’ll Bring
Experience in passive fire protection surveyingHands-on experience installing fire protection systems (essential)Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and standardsProven experience preparing cost estimates and project pricingBusiness development experience, including advertising and tender submissionsExcellent communication and client-facing skillsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailCommitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvementMinimum ASFP / IFE Level 2 qualification, with formal fire door training from BRE, FDIS, FPA, IFI or equivalentFull UK driving licence is essential
