An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to join a high-growth international payment and technology business as a Finance Manager.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the finance function, taking ownership of core finance processes, supporting month-end reporting, overseeing transactional activities, and driving continuous improvement across finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking activities and reconciliationsCoordinate month-end close processes, including journals, accruals and prepaymentsSupport the preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysisManage payroll inputs, employee expenses and supplier relationshipsPrepare and review monthly commission calculationsSupport audit, compliance and financial control activitiesIdentify opportunities to improve processes, controls and automationProvide day-to-day support and guidance to a Finance Assistant Person Specification
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent) with at least one year's post-qualification experience3-5 years' experience within a finance or accounting roleStrong understanding of month-end processes and management accountingAdvanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and SUMIFSExperience using accounting systems such as Xero, NetSuite, Sage or similarHighly organised, proactive and detail-orientedExperience within fintech, financial services, or a multi-entity environment would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Finance Manager who enjoys improving processes, taking ownership, and contributing to the growth of a dynamic business.
