School Minibus Driver
Location: Kingston
Contract: 3 months, ongoing (potentially permanent)
Pay: £20.15 per hour through an umbrella company
Hours: 6 hrs per day, Monday to Thursday (24 hrs per week)
Start Date: ASAP
The Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Minibus Driver to provide transport services for pupils of a multi-academy trust. This role is ideal for an individual with excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to passenger safety.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport passengers to and from designated locationsConduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issuesEnsure compliance with road traffic legislation and transport regulationsAssist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle where requiredMaintain accurate journey and vehicle recordsKeep the minibus clean, presentable, and roadworthy at all timesProvide a professional and courteous service to all passengers Essential Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence with D1 entitlementPrevious experience driving a minibus or passenger-carrying vehicleStrong awareness of road safety and passenger welfareGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexibly when required Desirable Requirements
MiDAS certificationExperience working within education, healthcare, or community transport settingsEnhanced DBS clearance
