About this role
The Job An Accountant will be hired on a temporary to permanent basis. Candidates must be North East based and be able to attend occasional meetings in the local office but will typically work remotely.
Key Areas: Support the Finance Team lead with day to day accounting and financial administrationReview invoices, prepare payments and complete reconciliationsLiaise with stakeholders to track expenditure and project costsSupport budget monitoring and budget v actual reportingCashflow monitoringLiaise with external accountantsInvoice review and payment reconciliationBudget monitoring and forecastingSupport the finance function with improvements to processes and controls
The business A UK entity providing services to private clients About You You will likely be a Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalentQualified by Experience candidates will be considered with relevant experienceHave up to 10 years of experience in a mid level finance positionAble to work independentlyConfident with managing payments and banking processesAble to build relationships with all stakeholders both finance and non financeHave confidentiality and discretion
