Your new school Are you passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Hays Education is urgently recruiting experienced and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistants to work across a range of mainstream and specialist secondary schools in Manchester.

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needsHelp implement personalised behaviour and emotional support strategiesSupport classroom teachers in managing challenging behaviour and promoting engagementFoster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environmentWork closely with pastoral teams, SENCOs, and external professionalsMonitor and report on student progress and emotional wellbeing Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEMH or behavioural support setting or working with vulnerable people, potentially in a healthcare setting Strong communication, empathy, and resilienceA calm, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting students with complex needs What We Offer:
