Rent Recovery Officer
Salary: £16.06 p/h
Contract: Temporary 10 weeks (Project assist)
Location: Coventry
Working Hours: Shifts Mon to Fri, 9-5pm
Our client are seeking an experienced Rent Recovery Officer to support the team during a large-scale project.
Rent Recovery Officer duties include:
To provide advice and assistance to customers on all areas related to income collection and recovery.Proactively contact customers to resolve debt issues and negotiate repayment arrangements.Ensure efficient and effective collection of charges including court and enforcement referrals.Assess affordability and refer customers to appropriate support services.Provide advice on tenancy breaches, housing law and welfare reform.Complete court administration requirements and support case progression. Previous experience in income collection or debt management is essential due to the nature of the project and immediate requirement.Good understanding of housing law and county court processes.Knowledge of arrears collection best practice and legal issues.Excellent customer communication skills.
