GBR Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a well established quality focused car & van dealership, recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to work on both cars & vans.
You will be a Vehicle Technician that ideally has an NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent in vehicle maintenance & repairs, plus a current MOT license, as well as being a qualified MOT tester, with widespread experience of working on varying different makes & models of cars & vans.
As a Vehicle Technician you will carry out all aspects of car servicing, MOT, carrying out diagnostics, plus general car repairs & maintenance works.
This Vehicle Technician role is purely workshop based working within a team of 3 Vehicle Technicians & within a garage team of 8.
Key Vehicle Technician tasks include:
Working closely with the team and completing tasks as delegated by the General ManagerAll aspects of vehicle servicing workMOT work including MOT repairsVehicle maintenance including but not limited to:Cambelt replacementClutch replacementEngine workDiagnostic work and fault rectifyingInterior workBrakes, steering, suspension etc.Tyre fitting including trackingAir conditioning re-gas and repairs Requirements for the Vehicle Technician role include:
Level 3 NVQ in maintenance and repair or equivalentCurrent MOT license and fully trained in motor vehicle technologyQualified MOT Tester with up-to-date trainingDiagnostic knowledge advantageousAble to supply own tools This is a great opportunity for a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, Car Technician, Automotive Mechanic, Automotive Technician or similar titled roles.
