Software Developer Up to £50,000 per annum + benefits Chippenham, Wiltshire Permanent
We're looking for a talented Software Developer to join a busy development team, working on a mix of existing systems and new software solutions.
You'll take ownership of developing, improving and maintaining applications, working with C#, .NET and SQL Server, alongside a range of modern technologies. From building APIs and optimising databases to modernising legacy systems, this is a varied role where your technical expertise will make a real impact.
Working within an Agile team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, solve complex problems and help shape reliable, secure and high-performing software.
What You'll Be Doing:
Developing and maintaining applications using C# and .NETBuilding web applications, APIs and desktop solutionsDesigning, managing and optimising SQL Server databasesImproving and modernising existing systems and codeWriting clean, efficient and maintainable codeCarrying out testing, debugging and code reviewsWorking with Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD pipelinesCollaborating with the wider team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard What We're Looking For:
Strong commercial experience with C# and .NETExperience with MVC, Razor or BlazorSolid SQL Server skills, including complex queries and performance tuningExperience developing and integrating REST APIsKnowledge of Entity Framework and JavaScript or TypeScriptFamiliarity with Git, Azure DevOps and CI/CDAn understanding of Agile development and software architectureA proactive, analytical approach with strong problem-solving skillsThe ability to work independently while being a great team player What's on offer?
