Accounts Assistant
Location: Bradford-on-Avon Job Type: Part-time, Permanent Hours: 20-25 hours per week Monday - Friday
Salary: £28,000pa (full-time equivalent)
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established business in Bradford-on-Avon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking for a permanent, part-time position.
Working as part of a friendly team, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day accounts function, ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, a methodical approach and the confidence to deal with financial queries professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Processing rent payments and ensuring transactions are accurately recorded.Preparing and issuing landlord statements.Processing remittances.Adding supplier invoices to the accounting system.Checking invoices for accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.Sending invoices to the relevant parties.Handling landlord accounting queries in a professional and timely manner.Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting general accounts administration. About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and has excellent attention to detail. You will be comfortable working with figures, managing multiple tasks and communicating effectively with a range of people.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role.Strong numerical and organisational skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Good IT skills and confidence using accounting systems.Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.The ability to work independently and as part of a team.A proactive and professional approach to work.
