Financial Accountant – (1–2 Month Contract)
A leading, multi-award-winning Entertainment Group is seeking a technically strong, qualified accountant for a 1–2 month contract. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will help finalise year-end accounts, support completion of the audit and assist with statutory filings across the Group.
Operating across the UK and US, the business offers a friendly, collaborative finance team within a fast-paced, creative environment.
This is an office-based role.
Key Responsibilities
Finalise Group consolidations and year-end statutory accounts using CaseWare.Liaise with external auditors, resolve outstanding queries and support audit completion.Assist with statutory filings and associated tax workings.Review year-end journals, accruals and balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations. Candidate Requirements
Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent, having trained and qualified in practice.Strong audit background and relevant financial accounting experience.Hands-on CaseWare experience is essential.Strong knowledge of Group consolidations, statutory reporting and UK audit and filing requirements.Organised, proactive and confident working independently to tight deadlines.Strong Excel and communication skills.Media or Entertainment experience would be advantageous.
