The Role
As a Tax Manager, you will join an experienced tax team, providing high-quality advice and support to a diverse client base. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional looking to progress their career within a dynamic and forward-thinking firm.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with senior stakeholders and partners, supporting a portfolio of larger and more complex compliance clients.Deliver tax advisory services to business owners, including: Tax planningBusiness acquisitions and disposalsProperty transactionsInheritance tax and estate planning Manage HMRC enquiries and investigations, including report writing, financial analysis, and technical research.Act as a technical resource for external accountants and professional contacts, providing support via telephone and email.Oversee the delivery of the tax return programme.Support the management, training, and development of junior team members. About You
The successful candidate will:
Thrive in a collaborative and progressive working environment.Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Be ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified.Have a minimum of three years' post-qualified experience gained within a tax practice environment.Demonstrate strong experience advising owner-managed businesses on a range of tax matters, including corporation tax, income tax, and capital gains tax.Have a proactive and positive approach to solving problems and managing workloads.Be confident working both independently and as part of a wider team.
