Description
The Commercial Solicitor will be:
Advising on a broad range of commercial contracts relating to clean energy projects and businesses.Supporting clients across areas such as renewable energy, battery storage, solar, wind, hydrogen and other emerging technologies.Working on sophisticated contractual arrangements including route-to-market agreements, power purchase agreements, energy supply contracts and optimisation arrangements.Working collaboratively with lawyers across different practice areas on complex clean energy matters.Developing strong relationships with clients operating across the energy and sustainability sectors. The Commercial Solicitor should be:
A solicitor or equivalent with around 5+ years' PQE.Experienced in commercial contracts, with demonstrable exposure to the clean energy, renewables or wider energy sector.Confident advising on complex contractual arrangements and negotiating commercial agreements.Commercially minded, with excellent drafting, communication and client relationship skills.Keen to continue developing specialist expertise within the fast-evolving clean energy market.
