Temporary Facilities Coordinator
Location: Glasgow, West Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour Start Date: Immediate Duration: 10-12 weeks, with the possibility of extension Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Contract: Full-time, Temporary
Office Angels are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Temporary Facilities Coordinator based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong facilities background who can hit the ground running and support the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy office environment.
Duties:
Act as the first point of contact for facilities-related queries.Manage reception duties and welcome visitors and clients.Coordinate meeting rooms, office services, maintenance, cleaning, security, and waste management.Log and track maintenance requests through to completion.Liaise with contractors and suppliers, ensuring works are completed on time and to the required standard.Support health & safety processes, including inspections, risk assessments, compliance checks, and incident reporting.Process invoices and maintain contractor and service records.Maintain facilities documentation, asset registers, and office information.Assist with office moves, workspace changes, and minor facilities projects.Provide general administrative support and coordinate office events when required. Experience Required:
Previous experience in a Facilities Coordinator, Facilities Assistant, Estates, Property, or Operations role.Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Good understanding of facilities operations and office services.Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.Knowledge of health & safety and facilities compliance is advantageous. Professional and presentable, with a confident and friendly approach when dealing with colleagues, visitors, contractors, and clients.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and find practical solutions.
