The Company
Our client is a well-established food manufacturing business supplying high-quality products to customers across the UK. Due to increased production demands, they are looking for a Quality Assurance Operative to join their team on a temporary basis.
The Role
This is a hands-on QA role within a fast-paced food production environment. You will be responsible for ensuring products meet company quality standards, carrying out routine checks, and supporting food safety compliance across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out quality checks throughout the production processComplete QA paperwork accurately and in a timely mannerMonitor product quality, weight, labelling and packaging standardsConduct hygiene and GMP audits across production areasSupport food safety and quality compliance proceduresAssist with investigations into non-conformances and corrective actionsEnsure products meet customer and company specificationsWork closely with Production and Warehouse teams to maintain standardsSupport site compliance with HACCP proceduresEscalate quality concerns to management when required Skills & Experience
Previous experience within a QA, Quality, Technical or Food Production roleExperience working in a food manufacturing environmentGood understanding of GMP, hygiene and food safety standardsKnowledge of HACCP principles would be advantageousStrong attention to detailAbility to complete paperwork accuratelyGood communication skills and a proactive approachAvailable to start at short notice What's on Offer
