If you’re an Employment Solicitor at the early to mid-PQE stage and enjoy working on contentious matters, this is an opportunity to join a busy Employment team based in central Glasgow. The role offers a varied caseload covering both claimant and respondent work, within a modern and supportive practice where collaboration and development are actively encouraged.
This position would suit someone looking to build on existing technical capability and work closely with colleagues on a wide range of employment law issues.

In this role, you’ll manage your own employment law matters with supervision as required, advising clients on a range of contentious issues. You’ll draft correspondence and pleadings, progress cases efficiently and stay up to date with legal developments in employment law.
You’ll also work closely with colleagues on more complex matters, sharing knowledge and contributing to a collaborative team approach while building strong and positive client relationships.

Is NQ–5 years’ PQE in employment lawHas experience in contentious employment mattersIs confident handling files with supervision where neededCommunicates clearly and professionally with clientsIs organised, proactive and comfortable managing deadlinesWorks well as part of a team and brings a commercial mindset The environment
