Advancing People Multilingual are working with an established international logistics and freight forwarding business who are looking to recruit a Mandarin speaking Freight Forwarding Advisor to join the team in Bangkok, Thailand.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Team Leader who understands the Thai logistics market, has strong hands-on experience across LCL and FCL operations, and can combine operational expertise with team leadership and customer management.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Thailand operation, working closely with senior management and colleagues in China.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the full freight forwarding process from customer enquiry and quotation through to booking, shipment operation, customs clearance and settlement.Managing both LCL and FCL shipments, with particular expertise in LCL highly desirable.Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, shipping lines, agents and other logistics partners.Managing operational issues and resolving shipment exceptions efficiently.Supporting customer development and identifying opportunities within the Thai freight forwarding market.Maintaining and developing a strong network of local suppliers, overseas agents and logistics partners.Supporting destination-port operations and ensuring shipments are handled efficiently.Providing guidance, mentoring and day-to-day support to members of the operations and sales team.Liaising regularly with colleagues and management based in Ningbo and Shanghai,China, ensuring effective communication and information flow. Fluent Mandarin and EnglishExperience within logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, supply chain, customer service or account management.The ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.Experience managing the full shipment lifecycle from quotation through to final settlement.Experience mentoring, supervising or managing a small team is advantegous.The confidence to deal with operational issues and make decisions independently.The ability to work effectively with teams and management based in China. We are looking for an experienced freight forwarding professional who is already based in Bangkok, Thailand and understands how the local market operates.
Hands-on experience managing LCL and FCL shipments.A strong understanding of Thai customs clearance procedures and local port operations. The position is based in Bangkok, Thailand
This is a full-time permanent position offering a monthly salary of up to 170,000 THB + attractive company benefits
