Payroll & Pensions Officer – FTC
Salary: £30,000
Contract: Fixed-term until the end of January 2027
Start date: ASAP
Working pattern: Hybrid – 2 days onsite (Monday and one other day)
Location: Islington, London
Delighted to be supporting our client in appointing a detail-oriented Payroll & Pensions Officer to join a busy People team on a fixed-term basis until the end of January 2027.
Working closely with the Payroll Manager, you’ll support BAU monthly payroll and pensions administration, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, while helping with cross-checking and validation as the organisation implements a new HR and Payroll system.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting monthly payroll processing and pensions administration.Checking payroll data, changes and adjustments for accuracy.Responding to employee payroll queries and managing the payroll inbox.Supporting payroll compliance, reporting and statutory requirements.Assisting with testing, validation and cross-checking during the new system implementation. What we’re looking for:
Previous payroll administration experience.Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Confidence working with payroll systems, data and spreadsheets.A proactive, reliable team player who can hit the ground running.
