Transport Planning Supervisor
Salary - Up to £50,000
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Transport Planning Supervisor to coordinate driver and vehicle resources across a busy transport operation.
You will play a key role in ensuring services are fully resourced while maintaining compliance, operational efficiency and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Allocate drivers and vehicles across operational activities.Manage driver rotas, holidays, leave and absence cover.Ensure compliance with driver hours legislation and company standards.Support operational response to breakdowns, service disruptions and emergency cover.Coordinate vehicle movements across multiple locations.Maintain accurate scheduling and allocation records.Monitor service delivery and operational performance.Work closely with operations, engineering and customer-facing teams.Participate in on-call support arrangements. About You
Experience within transport planning, scheduling or resource planning.Knowledge of driver hours and transport compliance requirements.Strong organisational and planning skills.Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills.Full driving licence required.
