Job Title: Software Test Engineer with Python Location: Cambridge, MA Duration: Long Term
Responsibilities: Member of software development scrum team focused on functional and integration test development.
Responsibility includes:
Fully automated test development which verifies required functionality, exception/corner case handling, performance, logging and alerting. Development of mock stubs which can mimic functionality of peripheral software components including simulation of abnormal behavior. Enhance continuous/deployment automation framework.Develop monitoring and reporting functionality. Drive design for testability requirements. Required Experience: Greater than 3 years, hands on experience in each of the following areas:
Developing multi-threaded test frameworks and functional test to verify software applications. 2-5 Yrs of experience on Python is must.Analyzing software designs to develop comprehensive test plans which include positive and negative testing. 3rd Party code coverage and complexity analysis software products. Continuous integration and deployment using tools like Jenkins Agile development Bachelors Degree is must
