Responsibilities:
Ride along with supervisor through route dailyWork with team of 2 to 4 landscapers“Do it Safe, Do it Right” - Maintain a safe work environment while producing timely and quality work.Use hand / power tools and equipmentPerform a variety of tasks as directed by supervisorMowing, edging, leaf blowing, planting, trash pickup, trimming, weed eating, fertilizing, digging, mulching, etc.Load trucks / trailers with necessary equipment / tools, refill fuel canisters, and properly secure all equipment Hard working, reliable, and trustworthyAttention to detail, good organizational skills, and process orientedCan-do attitude that is a strong team playerWillingness learn and desire to grow within the organizationFollow instructions from SupervisorsExcellent communication skillsMust be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and other associates in EnglishKnowledge and use of electronic technology such as smart phones, tablets, & computers.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Verification will be completed)Must be willing to submit to a Criminal Background Check and Drug TestMust have clean driving record with Driver's LicenseSkills / Requirements:
1+ years of work experience in a landscaping position either installs or maintenanceAbility to complete the following tasks:Lawn CareMowing, line trimming, edging, blowingWeed ControlFertilizationTrimming Trees, hedges, bushesPlanting trees, hedges, plants and flowersLaying sodMulchingPushing a wheelbarrowDigging holes for planting trees and shrubs Ensure safe working environment for self, crew and customersFrequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawlMust be able to work outdoors - doing heavy physical labor, in all weather conditionsFrequently required to lift and/or move 35-80 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds + Why work for us?
