We are seeking a skilled BIM Designer (Wet Utilities/Drainage) specializing in Infrastructure to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing wet utilities design drawing & Civil 3D BIM Models for various infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient design processes and high-quality deliverables.
Proficient enough in handling Civil 3D (Pipe networks- Gravity & Pressure Networks) for Wet utilities related deliverablesDevelop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for infrastructure projects using industry-standard softwareCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate various design elements into cohesive BIM modelsEnsure BIM models comply with project requirements, standards, and best practicesPerform clash detection and resolve design conflicts within the BIM environmentGenerate accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates from BIM modelsAssist in the development and implementation of BIM workflows and standardsProvide technical support and guidance to team members on BIM-related issuesStay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends Bachelor's/ Diploma degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in BIM (Wet Utilities/Drainage) for infrastructure projectsProficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Civil 3D and Navisworks and RevitStrong 3D modelling and visualization skillsIn-depth knowledge of infrastructure design principles and construction processesFamiliarity with CAD software and ability to work with 2D drawingsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesBIM certification (e.g., Autodesk certifications) preferredDemonstrated experience in applying BIM standards and best practicesFamiliar with infrastructure projects in Middle East region
