We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Modeler to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing comprehensive Building Information Models for coastal and waterfront construction projects. You will work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop accurate 3D models that drive project efficiency and coordination. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to precision in all modeling deliverables.
Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using industry-standard software for coastal and maritime construction projectsCoordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure model accuracy and compliance with project specificationsExtract and organize project data from BIM models to support construction planning and schedulingIdentify and resolve modeling conflicts and inconsistencies through systematic analysis and coordinationPrepare technical drawings, schedules, and documentation from BIM models for construction teamsEnsure all models adhere to established BIM standards, protocols, and best practices specific to coastal projectsCollaborate with stakeholders to incorporate design changes and project modifications into models efficientlyConduct quality assurance reviews to maintain model integrity and data accuracy throughout project phasesSupport project teams with BIM-related problem-solving and technical guidanceDocument modeling processes and maintain organized project files for future reference 3-5 years of professional experience in BIM modeling and 3D visualizationDemonstrated expertise with BIM software platforms such as Revit, ArchiCAD, or NavisworksProven experience working on coastal, waterfront, or maritime construction projectsStrong proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing interpretationSolid understanding of building codes, standards, and construction practices relevant to coastal environmentsExcellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple project deliverablesStrong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detailProficiency in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating technical information clearlyKnowledge of BIM coordination protocols and clash detection methodologiesPreferred: Experience with quantity takeoff, cost estimation, or construction sequencing through BIMPreferred: Familiarity with coastal engineering principles and maritime construction challengesPreferred: Experience with BIM collaboration platforms and cloud-based project management tools
