We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Civil Roads & Urban 3D Design Engineer to join our transportation infrastructure team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing comprehensive 3D models for urban road networks and transportation infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design solutions that meet regulatory standards and project objectives while leveraging cutting-edge design technologies and best practices in the transportation sector.
Develop detailed 3D models and designs for urban roads, intersections, and transportation infrastructure using industry-standard software and toolsAnalyze site conditions, traffic patterns, and urban planning requirements to inform design decisions and optimize transportation solutionsPrepare comprehensive design documentation, technical drawings, and visualization materials for stakeholder presentations and project approvalsCoordinate with project managers, urban planners, environmental specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure design alignment with project goals and regulatory requirementsConduct feasibility studies and design alternatives analysis to evaluate different approaches and recommend optimal solutionsEnsure all designs comply with applicable transportation design standards, building codes, and local regulationsUtilize GIS and spatial analysis tools to assess project sites and support data-driven design decisionsParticipate in design reviews and provide technical input to refine and improve project deliverablesMaintain organized project files, documentation, and design records for efficient project management and future referenceSupport the preparation of project proposals and technical specifications for transportation infrastructure initiatives 3-7+ years of professional experience in civil engineering design, with a focus on roads, highways, or urban transportation infrastructureAdvanced proficiency in 3D design and modeling software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or equivalent platformsStrong knowledge of road design standards, specifications, and best practices applicable to Indian transportation infrastructureExperience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and integrated design workflowsDemonstrated expertise in GIS tools and spatial analysis for transportation planning and designSolid understanding of traffic engineering principles and urban planning conceptsProficiency in preparing technical drawings, design documentation, and visualization materialsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex design challengesExcellent organizational and project coordination abilitiesProficient communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse stakeholdersExperience working on multi-disciplinary projects and collaborating with cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with transportation planning software and traffic simulation tools (preferred)Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green infrastructure principles (preferred)Experience with infrastructure projects in urban environments (preferred)
