About this role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Architectural Transportation specialist to join our growing team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models for transportation infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery through advanced BIM methodologies and best practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality architectural transportation solutions.
Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM models for transportation infrastructure projects using industry-standard softwareCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, civil engineers, and MEP specialists to ensure model accuracy and consistencyPerform clash detection and resolve conflicts between architectural, structural, and systems componentsCreate detailed technical documentation, drawings, and specifications from BIM modelsAnalyze transportation design requirements and translate them into accurate 3D models and visualizationsManage BIM standards, protocols, and quality assurance procedures across projectsPrepare construction documentation and coordinate with contractors for field implementationConduct design reviews and provide recommendations for optimization and constructabilityMaintain organized project files, databases, and BIM asset librariesCollaborate on project planning and scheduling to ensure timely model deliverySupport the development and implementation of BIM workflows and best practices within the organization **Required Skills & Experience:**
Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or equivalent modeling platformsAdvanced knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling techniques3-5 years of professional experience in BIM, architectural design, or transportation infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of transportation design standards and infrastructure requirementsExperience with clash detection and coordination tools (Navisworks or similar)Excellent technical documentation and drawing preparation skillsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary team environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesProficiency in project coordination and stakeholder communication**Preferred Skills & Experience:**
Advanced expertise in Autodesk Revit with customization capabilitiesExperience with Civil 3D for transportation designKnowledge of Dynamo scripting or visual programming for BIM automationFamiliarity with BIM standards and protocols (ISO 19650, LOD specifications)Experience on large-scale transportation or infrastructure projectsKnowledge of MEP coordination and integrationExperience with project management software and toolsUnderstanding of construction sequencing and logistics
