Box Truck Driver Needed in Little Ferry, NJLocation: Little Ferry, NJType of Position: Direct Hire/ Permanent Hire Pay: $23-$30/hour ; Overtime: $34.50-$45/hourJob DescriptionThis role involves operating a Ram F550 box truck to complete local deliveries of coin wraps and large containers to banks, grocery stores, and other retail locations. You start and end each workday in Englewood, handling the loading and unloading of heavy containers using a dolly while maintaining safe driving practices and adherence to DOT regulations.Responsibilities
• Drive a Ram F550 box truck to complete local delivery routes starting and ending in Englewood. • Load and unload coin wraps and large containers from the truck using dollies and other basic equipment. • Safely maneuver containers weighing approximately 85 to 200 pounds during loading, unloading, and delivery. • Deliver products to banks, grocery stores, and various retail locations in an efficient and timely manner. • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures while operating the vehicle. • Maintain a clean driving record by practicing safe and defensive driving at all times. • Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly. • Handle all materials carefully to prevent damage and ensure accurate delivery. • Interact professionally with customers at delivery locations and represent the company in a positive manner. • Comply with any required background and credit checks as part of employment eligibility. Essential Skills
• Proven box truck or commercial driving experience. • DOT certification and ability to comply with DOT regulations. • Clean driving record with a strong focus on safety. • Ability to load and unload trucks using dollies. • Capability to regularly move and maneuver containers weighing between 85 and 200 pounds. • Reliable transportation to and from the Englewood starting location. • Willingness to complete a credit check as part of the hiring process. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience driving Ram F550 or similar medium-duty trucks. • Prior experience making deliveries to banks, grocery stores, or retail environments. • Strong customer service and communication skills when interacting at delivery locations. • Attention to detail when handling and transporting valuable or sensitive materials. • Ability to follow established routes, schedules, and safety protocols with minimal supervision. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Little Ferry, NJ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $44720.00/yr.
