Position OverviewAs a Quality Inspector, you will ensure the safety and reliability of life-changing pharmaceutical products. You will visually evaluate products for defects, operate specialized inspection/packaging equipment, and document processes in strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).Key Responsibilities

• Visual Inspection: Inspect pharmaceutical products and vials to identify and classify defects based on strict quality standards. • Equipment Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate automated inspection machines, cappers, and related production equipment. • Documentation and Compliance: Accurately document inspection results, line clearances, and component counts in batch records following cGMP guidelines. • Process Flow: Load/unload vials from turntables, manage line clearances, perform filter integrity tests, and safely stack, wrap, or move pallets as needed. Requirements and QualificationsMinimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. • Experience: 1 to 3 years of quality inspection or visual inspection experience within a manufacturing or production environment. • Acuity: Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain the necessary visual acuity required for defect detection. • Math Skills: Basic math proficiency (multiplication and division) to calculate percent-defective rates. Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in a heavily regulated environment such as Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Aerospace. • Familiarity with batch records, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of MELROSE PARK, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
